@glass_emptyness began as an ironic rebuttal to Instagram posts of food. Who cares what the food looks like. How does it taste? Pictures were posted of empty plates and jars, crumbs, wrappers, and fruit stems, accompanied by descriptions of the meal, or a story about the making.

As the words waxed more and more poetic, the focus shifted towards more abstract photos and short poetry. This lead to the release of the self-published poetry collection Countless Partings in 2017, followed the next year by #nq2k17, a collection of image macros. Two years later came the book of poems This is my fall of twenty sixteen. The two books can be found below, including some excerpts from #nq2k17.
